Oh you pretty thing.
Absolutely beautiful, Ben. Congrats!!!
That looks real good on that base, very nice lamp!
OK, if you can put it on a base with a 60w bulb, I think it will break the ice and get it flowing. If not, no worries. I can send you some "adjusting liquid" that will do the trick.
I see. Do you have a 60w bulb? If so, run it on that for a few hours, then go back to the 40w.
And that's what's interesting, Haze.
I'm very careful with the measurements, and I know that your red liquid and Ben's yellow liquid are identical. So, what's different? Best I can tell, it's the bases and the heat they generate. Room temperature contributes to it, too.
Your red ran fine from the first?
Oh, and that is one BEAUTIFUL lamp!
The 52oz and my formula is interesting. The 40w bulb in some bases is not quite up to the task of producing enough heat to get the flow going. Ambient room temperature, especially in the winter, can make it challenging to achieve the temperatures for flow.
But after a couple of runs, a break-in period if you will, it flows fine from then on.
For the 52oz especially with the large holo square glitter, the formula needs to be tweaked slightly so it flows, and then continues to flow fine for hours without having the glitter drop.
I'm working on it, and I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for working through it, Ben. I'm glad you like it.
That looks awesome, I have this 'mix' on
my kirk's shopping list.
