I'm very careful with the measurements, and I know that your red liquid and Ben's yellow liquid are identical. So, what's different? Best I can tell, it's the bases and the heat they generate. Room temperature contributes to it, too.

Your red ran fine from the first?

Comment by Kirk on January 24, 2015 at 7:37pm: The 52oz and my formula is interesting. The 40w bulb in some bases is not quite up to the task of producing enough heat to get the flow going. Ambient room temperature, especially in the winter, can make it challenging to achieve the temperatures for flow.

But after a couple of runs, a break-in period if you will, it flows fine from then on.

For the 52oz especially with the large holo square glitter, the formula needs to be tweaked slightly so it flows, and then continues to flow fine for hours without having the glitter drop.

I'm working on it, and I appreciate the feedback.
