Clearly, I'm cursed when it comes to new lamps from Lava Lite. I got this one from Spencer's last week. When it's fully warmed up, it looks fine for the most part. But these things never fully melt into the wax. I'll probably return it.

I don't remember how the glass was, sadly. I returned this one last week. I have no problem returning lamps, though I'm sure it annoys Spencer's.
you have the worst luck with these, erin! that is pretty bad.
Mine is still flowing and looking good! Sorry to see you got a bad one Erin! Most times its hit or miss with China lamps.
I decided to pass on an exchange and just returned it. I have terrible luck with new Lava Lite lamps made in China. I think every single one I've bought from our Spencer's here has had problems. Just not worth it to try another one. I'm glad most people seemed to have gotten good ones though! :)
Yeah, that's gotta go!
But I would suggest trying another one. They are beautiful!!
I will be returning it.
You'd never see this even by looking at the globe. It's only visible when it's running. When the lava is cold, it looks "normal".
Oh man, no bueno. The good thing about them going back to boxes from tubes is that it is a lot easier to open and check the globe for clarity and the base for denting, etc. I'd definitely return or exchange if you really like the color.
lol what the?! I would just have them open one for you cause mine is still pretty good and I haven't heard this being a issue with anyone else here.
