Comment by frank Chillino on October 22, 2013 at 1:04pm: Hi Jonas, yes I believe you are correct, the Lava flows in a different way. I think the Lava inside is of a different consistency.It is like thinner and lighter than my other Lava lamps.

Comment by frank Chillino on October 19, 2013 at 7:29pm: The Heat tapes have a wooden base with metal filigree around the bottom. I have a few of these in Glitter, but I have another version which is very rare called Bubble lites it is like Lava's but the Lava inside is different then regular Lava lamps. It flows in a different way, a very hard to find lamp. I have pictures of it in my pictures.

I need to research them. I would like to have at least one of those for my collection, in glitter. I'll keep watching too. BTW, I know you're not selfish. If it's meant for you to have it, you'll win it. If not, you won't.

Comment by frank Chillino on October 19, 2013 at 7:13pm: I know I missed a Heat tapes glitter about a month age BIN for $60 I paid like $450-$500 for that same lamp. This is why I am always on the computer looking. Some times sellers do not know the value of the lamps and you score. But it is cool for other bidders to win too, I am not selfish.

I bought it for what was "under the hood." But it is way cool. LOL I've missed a few BIN's that made me sick at my stomach too.......but we've scored great deals that offset the disappointment, which is a very good thing!

I know computers are a fortune I have a Mac Book Pro and paid over $2000 for it, and that was with my brothers discount! But I will only have an Apple.

Just be glad your "Princess" didn't start out BIN and I saw it first. LOL Although I might not have been able to afford it, just got me a new computer......Yowza!!!! EEKKKK That now makes "three" shades of blue Wizard base/cap combos I've not only seen, but own.....very strange. I'll have to post some pics when I figure out this computer.
