No worries, Chuck.  J was looking for larger gold glitter than the glitter in Wizard lamps.  He wanted the gold glitter for his Grandes.  All of the larger 1/8" and 1/4" square gold glitter that I've tested curls and won't stand up to the solvent liquid.

The only gold glitter that I've found to be solvent resistant is the very small hexagonal gold glitter like that used in a Crestworth multicolor glitter lamp.  I've made a couple of these - one for MileHigh and one for ChuckM.

My gold glitter is old. I don't think he had much of it and may not have the ability to offer it any longer. I don't want to get him I to trouble with any folks! He made this for me a long time ago.

GT,

I posted a video of the gold in my videos section here:

What does the clear with fine gold look like?  Could you show a picture of that?  I love gold - a gold dust storm sounds beautiful.  What a nice collection you have.

Hey GT
I would say it does look this bright gold. It is a very rich color. The glitter picks up hints of other colors that don't show up here. So far I have fast small in a faded pink, fast small in tangerine (little mini globe), large square in purple, clear with fine gold, and then this. It is a tough call. The pink is my least favorite simply because it faded, but it still is very nice. I love the large square in purple. The gold in clear starts very fast and is like a gold dust storm. This one is new to me and is proving to be gorgeous. They all have a unique charm to be sure. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite.

Thanks for the pics and videos, Chuck.  Does this yellow look as bright gold as it looks in the picture?  It's absolutely gorgeous.  Do you like these glitter strands better than the small or larger hex/square glitter?
