Hi Erin, I really like your photos. I like how you went out of the box to take pics of your lites. I especially like photo 57, where the orange lamp compliments the orange windows of the building. I do some shooting myself, so I like the different looks of your shots.
Hi Erin, Thanks for the welcome. I've always liked lava lamps and just purchased four grandes. I want to try to make a few lamps for myself with a goo kit. Hopefully I can take some of this great info from the members on this site, and succeed. Thanks, Matt
both great color choices.. I would love to see a cranberry that has more of the magenta tone to it. At least for me.. when my cranberry is next to a red.. there is not much of a difference as I wish. When cold you can see the difference clearly but once hot and flowing ...
Thanks. Been trying my hand at making lava and all that. Am having trouble determining what surfactant to use in place of soap since apparently it breaks down the wax over time. Also, what are the ratios of lava to bottle size that should be used for proper flow of the lava? If you could point me to someone who knows or if you know, any help would be greatly appreciated. This is quickly becoming the hobby that will get me through winter. I await and look forward to your response.
