(Lava Chat)

New lava junkie

Well, less than a week ago I got my first lamp. I've always loved them, but never got one for whatever reason. In impulse purchase mode, I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a blue/white lamp. Accidentally bumped it the first night! Ouch! it has formed a nice big bubble. I thought I had it worked out, but every time I turn it on, the tiny bubble that is left multiplies into several large bubbles.
So then a few nights ago, I decided I'd make up for my mistake and get another lamp, while I try to heal my first one. So this time I picked up a clear/red lamp. Very entertaining so far :)
And last night, well, I couldn't help myself. I went online and bought a 52oz purple/yellow. I figured I needed something big in my collection. Hopefully I'm lucky enough to have it show up on my doorstep without getting cloudy. If not, I'll just stick to buying locally. Because I'm sure I'll be buying more :)

Wow, can't believe that is a blue/white. Both lamps look good. As for the bubble, it will work it's way out. Don't worry about it :)

Should I keep running the lamp as usual? Every time I try, the bubble just seems to get bigger and bigger. I'm afraid I'll end up with just one big bubble that doesn't move XD

Well, I'm an idiot, and threw away the reciept and packaging. I think I'm out of luck on returning it.
Since that's out, what's my best bet? Run it as normal (I was planning on 8-10 hours per day, resting while I'm asleep.)? Run it on some crazy schedule (4 on, 4 off, etc?)? Or should I just leave it off? I heard something about sticking it in the refridgerator, but I don't know how well that works.

Also, my addiction is growing. I went out and bought a purple/pink (Though the "pink" lava looks more like red, though it still looks GREAT.). I got it from spencers a few hours ago, and it's starting to flow :)
I was expecting Spencers to rip me off, as that seems to be the case with every real store versus online store. But I actually paid less in the store! I was shocked that a 52oz was only $20 (And they had glitter lamps for $10, but I wasn't too interested in them. Maybe some day!) ! I don't know if it's the size or the color combo, but I think this is my new favorite lamp so far. I have a feeling that might change tomorrow when I get my purple/yellow in :)

You can run it or call lava world and have them send you a replacement globe. Explain there are bubbles in the mix and you would take it back but do not have the receipt or box. They should send out a new one to you at no charge.
