i have no idea really, they say you shouldn't let it burn for more than 3 hours.
what i did notice is that if the candle doesn't reach high enough or doesn't put out enough heat it takes aaaages to warm up, i just hold my lighter under the glass for about a minute or two and it gets up and going in about 20 minutes, same as with a brand new candle. thinking about getting myselve a piece of mica plastik (heat resistant) or just place a small glass tealightholder in the base to guide the heat. placing it in a drafty room is bound to make it fail
