Hi from England
Just seen this thread; yes, it's the (older) Galaxy that has a fan to shuffle the fibres; the Jupiter2 doesn't.
Neither of these models rotate, sadly, your Fantasias have got us beat there.
(though I'm told the Crestworth Snowflake does, and some others, too, not sure which...)
I agree, the Fantasia Fibre lamps do look superior from what I've seen on here. I've never seen one or a Mathmos in person, I found a cheap UFO lamp in a local charity store but it was a bit tatty, noisy and juddery so re-donated it back to them. I could live with it in good condition though, at least until a found a good quality one.
Great eye candy!!!!
I have never seen that type of lamp before - it really does look like a chrome mushroom!
I have the Aluminium and fiber optic table lamp which was made in Italy.

this first lamp is the one I was talking about!
I just received confirmation from the Ebay seller that the spray on a Mathmos Jupiter2 does not move.
Now we know for sure.
Sounds cool - I can't wait to see it.
Is it a Crestworth Snowflake? - I really want one of those.
I have fiber optic lamps that were made in Italy, Germany, and one I bought from Canada that I believe was made in France, but I like my large Fantasia lamps the best!
I think it has a fan that blows on the fibers which causes them to move slightly.
Maybe someone from the UK who has one can confirm if the spray rotates or not.
