Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Colors are
red, purple, clear, green , orange, yellow,
Also I noticed this..
my alpha, trophy, firefly rotate clockwise.. this one and snowflake counter clockwise..
Curious as to why this is and or some intentional design.

Update: My Fantasia contact says he designed the blacklight-reactive bases because Spencer Gifts, a huge Fantasia retailer in the early 80s, displayed the lamps in their dark area, which had blacklights. These were created to maximize appeal under UV light - in short, made specifically for the location a big seller liked to display them!

James.. your the guy... I admit to a victorious feeling knowing the facts on the lamp..

Looks best when near UV source..

thanks Jonas.. I have searched high and low off the net and coming up with blanks.. this is a slightly larger mod but same in base / spray shape as the Snowflake or  the Tempo is like this too I believe.

I'll see if I can figure this out, I know a guy... He would've been at Fantasia in '79. Which lamps' names do you not have?

Wouldn't hurt. I've never seen a Fantasia like that. Ever.

yes it came with some paper work... dated 1979 .

says for models 1000 - 1000D - 1004 - 4001

want a good laugh or cry.. says for replacement sprays for $16.95 plus .00 for postage and handling...

hell now a spray would probably go for more than a lamp..at today's cost, if you want me to scan a copy of it for library just let me know..

It's beautiful. Is it a Fantasia?

I snagged it for like 91.00 with shipping..which I thought was high but for its uniqueness and then when I got it and seen its mint.. well .. I am very satisfied with amount
