hi everyone, my names Darren, i live in Thatcham Berkshire UK and i work for myself selling retro nostalgic products we call ourselves nic-ola nostalgia, i love music modern and old mainly the rock n roll era Elvis presley, eddie cockran to name a couple, i have a love for classic jukeboxes, 70s & 80s Boomboxes, Record players and hi/fi equipment, 80s digital watches, Polaroid camera's, classic cars oh and a growing interest in lava & Glitter lamps, thanks for ready my profile :o)

My First Lava Lamp was:
my first lava lamp was a cheap £3.99 job :o( but then i purchased a genuine mathmos in a local shop in 1992 this was a white jet with red wax clear liquid i kept it for years but then moved house and just dont know what happened to it until a year ago when i found it in the shed but it was as you can imagine no blobs anymore :o( so i searched ebay uk and yes i found the exact same lamp in mint condition in the box wow :o) so i then looked for more oh dear the bank ballance has been hit hard, my latest lamp is a mathmos lunar oh what a lamp :o) but finding this site has opened my eyes to some of the great lamps out there and i did not realise so many people loved these stange lamps, goo is great :o)
