My First Lava Lamp was:: I don't know the brand, but it was gold colored metal, with a sort of tray around the top of the base. The wax was yellowish. I gave it to my little brother years ago and he still has it in his living room.

My Favorite Lava Lamp is:: The one I gave to my brother. It was gold colored metal and had yellowish wax.
