My First Lava Lamp was:
Had a green with gold base, bougth in mid seventies, was a nice nite light when you can home late. When I moved to florida 20 years ago I gave it to my nephew. The green had faded over the years from sun. Currently Lava less, but have started collecting fiber optic lamps.

They keep multiplying, I think I have pods too! The glitter lamps are the trouble makers, I don't know what to do, Seems like the other groups are organiZing.
i looked thru you photos and got lost... great stuff .. i love to see new things as you had a few I hadn't had the pleasure yet. I live for weekends when time and funds allow me to go treasure hunting.. there is a certain rush and mission accomplished emotion that comes with a find..
