My First Lava Lamp was:: Blue/White Silver Streak. I got it used from a friend (for free). It was stored in an attic, and the lava had separated into two parts, half floated to the top, half sunk to the bottom. Getting the two to merge was not easy, but with the help of this forum, it's running great!

I only had my first lamp for about a week and a half... and then I got two more! I'll need to cool it with lava lamps for a while, but I definitely see how people can get hooked on collecting.
