If the seller wants to sell it for that cheap, let them. It hurts nobody and allows someone that could not afford it previously - to now be able to own such a wonderful piece of art. You never know, some people may sell things to help others or because they need money quick.

eBay has it's ups and downs. You need to move fast if you see something good - otherwise you will miss it.

I hear ya. I hope it went to a good collector. I would not mind owning one and I know and appreciate what it is, but could not afford the prices that they are selling for at all. So I am one of those people :)

I still want one. Maybe one day. :D

Hope the seller follows through.
I won a lunar once for £120 Buy it now.
The seller contacted me and said he would get back to me with a shipping price.
We had a few communications.
Then I got an email from the seller saying that someone broke into his account and the auction was not valid.
It was a couple days later and there were still videos being sold by the seller and he would not answer my communication. Yet eBay had not suspended the account. From past experience with friends that is the first thing they do, cancel all auctions and suspend the account.
So I left negative feedback warning everyone that the seller said his account was broken into and the auctions were not valid.
Boy did I get nasty email after that and a negative retaliatory feedback to boot! LOL!

Good Luck to the buyer and hopefully the seller was just looking to get rid of it.

i think its a case that all of us at some time want to bag a bargain, and also we would all like to sell something for the best money we can, ive had a a fair bit of luck this way at times, there was a gold anodised telstar on ebay a month ago with a buy it now for £20 a good buy, but a couple of years ago i but 2 copper asrtos on ebay and got £10 each for them, so i think its swings and roundabouts some you win some you loose

I agree with Krissy, sometimes ebay can do your way and sometimes it doesnt, thats how it works and yeh ive missed out on the chance to get a Lunar a few times but no point loosing any sleep over it, also had some amazing bargains too so cant really complain and i will get another Lunar im convinced i will in time! Seriously tho you've had an amazing bargain there and you wont be disapointed (looking forward to seeing some pics), the Lunar is a stunning lamp and i cant wait to get my custom bottles. If you do decide to sell the nose cone let me know ;) All the best - Dan
