After 4 hrs. Its looking great, a few bits of wax still stuck to globe, but I'm sure they will melt off after a few good runs.

gorgeous color combo!
Hi Andy, its a difficult colourway to describe. I've had this lamp for just over a week now and have been running it every day. the wax was stuck to one side of the globe as you may have seen in my other photo's and looked purple if somewhat crusty ! I would say its more deep cranberry with a pink tint when warmed up and does glow very pink nearer the base. When spiking (warming up) its a very pale pink. It looks more purple in daylight ! The flow is great...the old 90s flow that most of us prefer. I would'nt be surprised if it was a faded blue/blue combo.
Hope that helps....Pete.
Can i ask, what is the colour combo for the wax/liquid here? I used to have one similar, although it may have been a bit more pink when nearer the bulb, but sadly it got brke during a move and i've never been able to find the right replacement.
