Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

D Electronics has a few 2011 spoilers up.

- 12oz lamp with black base/cap and 6 colors

- 32oz lamp with 5 different base/cap colors

- 20oz vortex glitter lamp

I'm excited to see the potential return of the 32oz.  I hope there is a plan to introduce some more colors and models to the 52oz line.

Sometimes anticipation is better than fulfillment but after a point you look like Charlie Brown hoping that just this once Lucy will not pull the ball away at the last second. If the formula is not perfect the container is irrelevant. Tell LL to include in their next catalogue actual pictures of their new formula flowing. Once the lava looks like it did when made in the USA then I will start buying them again.

Is there a target release date? Summer is kinda vague.

Then again, I'm not sure I would want to buy lamps that are shipped in the summer. That's always been a bad season to ship lava. They will put themselves right into cloudy lamp territory.

Shawn, maybe you could give them a heads up. Summer heat wreaks havoc for shipping Lava.

Hmmm. that's the theory..
I do recall LL holding off on shipping lamps due to extreme heat as well as extreme cold. Its the resellers that need to be told not to ship during these times or better yet the collector should know these things.
