hi guys, just spoted this rare lamp on ebay that you may be interested in, i already have one and can tell you they are beautiful, not sure how rare they are but i havent seen that many on ebay.

Not bad - I am not really interested myself but someone else probably is.

I reckon it was one of the first model of Telstars made - probably Cretsworth going on the copper and chrome finish and the cloure of the wax and cloudieness etc.
its not copper its gold anodised like the blue & pink/purple ones you see more often. Crestworth did make a lamp called a  telstar but they didnt look anything like the mathmos telstar  :)
