Amorphophallus bulbifer (picture heavy)

so it bloomed!
much shorter inflorescence than bulbifer or konjac

i actually have two in bloom.
tried to pollinate both but in the second, smaller one, i cut a hole for easier access to the female flowers

the whole thing is about a half or two thirds of a meter (1.5 - 2 feet).
it was stinky! but just for one day. couldn't identify it more than a general yuck smell.
i grow several species: paeonifolius, yunnanensis, titanum (but this keeps getting smaller instead of bigger!), konjac (aka rivieri) and bulbifer.
i also have a Taccarum in addition to the Typhonium....
i just got the yunnanensis and paeonifolius. haven't even seen the paeonifolius leaf out yet! but it think it's starting....
