I am thinking about picking one up tomorrow and just thought I'd get some advice on it. I have the iPhone 4s and am quite bored with it lol.

iPhone for life :)
I got the itch once for Android. I got an Android. I went back to my iPhone after a few weeks. :) I've had them all the way back to the first one and I'm 100% sold on them. To each their own though. Sometimes you just need to get it out of your system.
I'll text you all in hell from my Blackberry. Make sure you all hold your phones just right so you can get a signal and respond. ;-)
Apple’s attention to detail is famous, and the only way they could fail to be aware of dozens of worker deaths, of child labor, of exposure to neurotoxins is through willful ignorance. That’s why our members are asking Apple to clean up its supply chains in time to make the iPhone 5 its first ethically produced product.

I had Android before and I loved the OS, just hated the phone it was on. The Galaxy Nexus looks very promising and has gotten excellent reviews. Worst case, I can just return the galaxy nexus if I don't like it. I am itching for a larger screen and 4G LTE.
Lots of product goes through Foxconn - not just Apple stuff. That being said, this is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Chinese companies making us cheap electronics for pennies a day. And yes, I agree, these conditions need to be changed, as does the wage. For that matter, I'd just like to see some stuff brought back to the US for production... but we all have the Wal-Mart mentality; we want it and we want it cheap.

I don't want it cheap. As far as Lava goes, I would gladly pay a premium price for a premium product. Would also be nice to know its compensating American workers. ):

I personally will never buy an iphone. I like being able to completely customize my android phones. Dont like the internet browser? Text messaging app? Camera app? home screen? Get a new one. On your iphone you are stuck with most of the stuff. I also like how everything is synchronized with googles other products like gmail, docs, maps, calendar, etc.
There are different browsers (Opera, Firefox), text apps and many many many camera apps to use for the iPhone. Also, Google apps are available for iPhone. Honestly, they are so similar now, there's not much difference between the two. There's 20 apps for everything.
Apple pros:
We all get the same update, at the same time, for everyone.
Apps are stable, beautiful and easy to update
Camera is uh-mazing
Siri is pretty damn sweet
Android pros:
Built-in GPS that talks to you. Just Google Maps on iPhone (unless you download an app)
More customizable for the uber geeks (no such thing as themes or skins for iPhone)
Easy to get into your phone and move around/get your stuff
SD cards for additional space
Quit being so damn rational. This should be an apple vs android rage fest!
