Blip Lavas

Hey, question...  Did the lava globes for the Blip lamps have coils??  I pulled out an old one from the back of the stack and fired it up last weekend but no go with the flow.  Then I noticed there's no coil in the darned thing!  WTF?

 

The glitter Blips look great, but I'm thinking a trip to Lowe's might be in order this weekend for the poor little Lava globe (2nd from the left).  :)

Very interesting I had never seen that before. Is it one of the US globes or a China ?

I'm fairly certain it's a US globe. It's an old one... Like me! :)
