Hey folks,
Can anyone help me identify this Whale base? It's made of plaster, has an aluminum sleeve, with a dimmer on the cord....
I'd greatly appreciate any insight you can offer..
Thanks, BB

Lava Lamp ceramic series "Seamore". Not one you see very often.
Wow Keith, that was quick! Thanks a lot!
I have been googling Whale lava lamp......... and nothing....That explains it
I'm gonna Ebay it, do you know if it has any value....or.... maybe you could even suggest a "buy it now" price?
Thanks for the help you've already been!
All the best, Bill
Value, yes. If I were to do a BIN I would list it at maybe $80 or $100, but that may be too high. Personally I would do it as an auction with a BIN option. The market is so variable right now it could go surprisingly high or surprisingly low.
Or you can dispense with the hassle and sell it to me for $20. Just Kidding! (But really)
Did you remember that it's just a base...... and nothing else,,,,,, That's a pretty good markup from what I paid!
I think I'll do it..............THANKS! bb
I think most collectors would be after the base anyways and would have spare globes to use with it, especially blue fluid with white wax.

Cap is super hard to find by itself, I won't buy any ceramics without the cap or with broken caps.
