Candle Wax

Has anyone tried dying wax with candle dye? if you did, what happened? what type of dye did you use?

im testing some out right now, cant remember the brand though. but i bought it at Michaels, its in a 1 fl. oz bottle. i wanted to try liquid, because i would have just melted down the solid stuff anyway. saves me some time :)
