chinese metallic silver

looking in a gadget shop in reading ( UK ) on saturday they had the usual china made lava brand lamps ... but they had something else too...

a rectangular lamp, containing metallic silver wax - and it seemed to be flowing well too.

i was almost tempted to buy - it's said that mathmos stopped making the metallics due to clouding issues - maybe these will cloud too but even so, funny how the chinese can do what mathmos can't or won't... sorry didnt get a photo.
