Clumping

Got a new batch of wax from Magma and created a standard 32oz lamp in grey. Worked fine for a month or so but now... after 2-3 hours... the lava turns into greek olives and gradually clump at the top. A few keep moving, but most just seem to want to hang out at the top.

What causes this? Too much suds?

Does this mean the wax has degraded and I should start over?

Bummed out because the colour is absolutely perfect.
