Found oozinggoo.com when I was looking for ways to repair the Grande I picked up at CostCo a few years ago. It's one of the Chinese made ones that has gone extremely cloudy and ceased to flow (going to try replacing the fluid one of these weekends).
It was here that I found out about really big Lava lamps. I was bowled over by videos of the Colossus lamps and really want to see if I could get one, I couldn't find them available anywhere so I wrote LavaLite. I wanted to let this group know what I got this from Lava Lite today:
We have a special promo on the Colossus for serious buyers. This will be the last time the Colossus will be seen.
Please see attached promo sheet with pricing included.
If you are interested please contact on my direct line at 630-496-6663.
Best regards,

Sadly these prices are outside of my discretionary funds, even though they include shipping. I post it in hopes that someone here may be interested.

Hang in there. Time is the answer. It has taken 2 months to get my yellow/purple to flow well for long periods of time. Your yellow/blue will be fine -- just give it time.

Oh my Glob. Didn't think it would happen to me. Got my yellow / blue beauty yesterday, and the first lighting was fantastic. At full power there were flurries in the water and wax tubes growing to the top. Now I have two inert globs at the bottom which are staying clear of the coil, and I already reduced the heat several times. Pardon me while I go read 68 pages of posts for a solution... I'll keep you posted.
And what Critter said. :>)

Jeffrey - Critter has posted some incredible pictures of his yellow/purple and pink/purple. So for inspiration...

The effort is worth it!

Awesomeness! My table piece arrived as well but haven't turned my lamp off long enough to put it on. :) It's been running for several days. Both in fact. Sorry to hear everyone's problems with goo flow. Neither one of mine have stalled at all or disconnected. Black goo was obviously the way to go for me.
