determing date?

hi. i just got one of these and i didn't know how to figure out when it was made. it seems to have a screw top and what may be a date on an underwriter labs labels of 2/22/65 but i don't know if that's really a date or another code.

Hello, sometimes the date is on the bottom felt. and sometimes you can look up under the cap at an angle (without removing the cap) just take a peek under there.
