Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi all,

I have an old lava lamp that needs to have the electric cord replaced. The lamp works fine, but the cord is frayed.  Can it be replaced as you would do with a regular lamp, or do I need to replace the base. If the base needs replacement, where would I get one?

Thanks to all for your info.  Linda

Hi Spence, thanks for replying to my inquiry. The lamp is a 52 oz with the black base, the kind shown as the original. I think it's really the on/off switch that is the problem as it keeps turning off. Sorry, I'm between cameras now so can't post a pic. Hope this helps. Linda
Thanks Spence, that seems easy enough to do. Linda
