has anyone seen or purchase one of these 30" floor standing lamps before?

Never seen that before, but very cool. Also has prime so free 2 day shipping is nice

I believe these are the lamps that do not have caps, I could be wrong on this. The end of the glass tube is blown shut. This means a gookit or other fluid replacement would be nearly impossible. From what I heard, they warm up quickly for a lamp that size.

Had never seen these before. I was excited enough to order a blue/red one based off this thread. Thanks! Love that color combo and I'm thinking (hoping) this tube globe will have fewer stars than my 52oz Spencer does. I'll post my comments after it arrives.

Marcel, very cool. What is the bulb wattage on these 30"? And, is it one solid glass bottle without cap?
I would buy another grande in red/blue or green/yellow. Maybe someday.

Mine arrived. Mixed feelings. The bottle is perfect, the crooked loosey stand not so great. Its weird looking externally with some very good flow and clean glass. Still undecided if I like it or not. I will also say it does start up amazingly fast, under an hour, using a 40 watt reflector bulb. I just wish the glass seated as nicely as on all other motion lamps I've seen.
