Help identifying a lamp

I found a lamp that I have never seen before. The seller says it has red liquid and an orange/red lava. He says he bought it around 1990 and also has a gold base the same size as a midnight. What throws me off is the color combination. I havent heard of that before. Anyone know the type? Pic attatched below.

It looks like it is a clear/red that has leaked dye into the water, they tend to look red/red. If it still runs fine they are nice lamps, its a older screw top cap model.
