Yeah your right, he's just 'content' as long as he can hang around me @ the bench
as I work on projects or surf the net. I have caught him looking at the lamps as they
warm up early, spilling out pea sized blobs, but then he will loose focus and moves on.
You have to own a cat to understand...
Kirk is right, Todd, we are obsessed! I also have OCD about my lamps and that black Starship cap needs to go back on the black Starship, please! ROFLOL ;-)) You do have some lovely lamps and kitty is sweet, but I'm a "canine" person too. We do have one cat, but he's not too affectionate. He's also a she.......named Luther. Whoops.......lol
Thank you!!! The "switching of the caps" can be my Christmas present. LOL Sorry.......OCD. A lot of us are like that about our lamps! lol
P. S. that cartoon is hilarious!
We are a bit OC lol

Well I managed to find a larger bulb, 100W reptile. The bulb is larger than the
R20 Style, so I just shortened the lamp mounting hollow stud. Left about 1/4 air
gap. I'll let it run for awhile. This lamp has been running for days on the 75W but
I wrapped the lamp in a towel to keep the heat in as I did the conversion...I can't
afford lost time in heating.
Time will tell.
I hope that works, Todd. I know nothing about reptile bulbs, but I do wrap my Version 1 Heritage Grandes in towels when the room temp drops. If I don't, they freeze in mid-flow in a big spike. Fingers crossed for you!
