Hunter - Screw Tops?

Hi all, I am in the process of buying a Hunter lava lamp and notice the fluid is very cloudy, do the tops screw off to aid filtering of the fluid?

As with all glassware items, extreme caution is advised when trying to force something free or unscrew a cap. Please all Beware! Hope you have fully recovered Ant.
