Hi there,
just received my Lunar frow Switzerland :-)
I've been told the bottle is tired, but I can't even try it yet because seller didn't include bulb.
(anyway I'll have to change the swiss connector to a euro one).
Could you tell me exactly what bulb I'm supposed to buy (a reference will be great!)
Another thing: I can't manage to remove the conic cap from the bottle. Is there a special technic?
I don't want to ruin it.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks!
PS: I don't have the red mathmos sticker on the cap is it normal?
I just have a sticker on one leg:

Congratulations Astralav!
The metal cap with the thread is one piece. Normally this metal cap / thread is glued to the plastic lunar bottle cap itself.
Using the hair dryer heat it up - evenly and for as long as you can!! Then I used a pair of special"sticky" grip gloves to twist the metal cap free from the lunar bottle cap. If that doesn't work, repeat but twist in the direction to tighten up first, then twist to unscrew - to break the adhesive seal.
If that doesn't work, you can try running the metal cap under very very hot water and twisting off - but you can risk the glass bottle shattering!!!
Simon,
when I say "fixing the cone", it is about scratches and bumps. I've got the tip removed.
I don't have any metal cap with the thread, but thanks anyway for the advice ;-)
