I Need a Spray for a Fantasia Regency 4100

Two weeks ago, I bought a Regency 4100 at a rural garage sale without the spray! The retired welder running the garage sale said he thought the thing was some kind of Christmas light. He recalled seeing that "funny looking thing" (the spray) somewhere around his house years ago. He's got all kinds of sheds and stuff. I got his phone number and called him t'other day. He still can't find it, but "can see it in his head." So... anybody got one? The spray for the 4100 is wider than the spray for the Firefly and the other Fantasia I used to have (the chrome ball one). Help! Chris Till 937-767-2326

Yesterday, I went to look at a red glitter wizard on Craig's list. The lady was more than weird, she had painted the base and cap with nail polish...

Anyway, once I got to her place, she pulled out this fiber optic light thing. It was in a box that said "UFO". The base was a black plastic flying-saucer looking thing about the size of a small dinner plate. The spray was about 10 to 12 inches long when she pulled it out of the cardboard tube. It was about an inch thick at the base. It set right into the UFO base and opened up beautifully. She turned it on and the spray rotated and changed color. I know nothing about these, but I loved it! Problem is, I didn't have any extra cash on me, so I couldn't buy it.

Well, the reason I'm telling you all of this is because if you can't find a genuine replacement, the modern replicas do have sprays that are separate. Maybe you could improvise if you had to. Even temporarily so you can get it running.

I have never owned a lamp with the glass fiber-optic sprays, but I do have a "UFO" with the plastic spray.  I remember seeing the Fantasia fiber-optic lamps back in the 70's-80's and there is NO comparison.  They are FAR superior to the plastic sprays.

That is what I had to do to get a spray for my Fantasia Solar 1.

They can be found pretty easily and there are 3 that would work available on Ebay currently.

The new sprays are made of plastic, they suck and will not fit a Regency like a vintage glass Sunburst spray would.

James, Thanks! I will look into the Sunburst prices on Ebay, as long as you are certain that the Sunburst appendage with fit into the Regency appurtenance. Before I sell it without the spray, I'm gonna wait until the ex-welder exhausts his search for the original. Weird thing is that I couldn't find any Regency lamps on Ebay when I checked; perhaps they are more rare than other Fantasia lamps. All the best, Chris

hello everyone, as you all may or may not know already. I am currently in the process of making replacement glass fiber optic sprays. These will be identical to the original Fantasia sprays. I am overwhelmed with pre-orders and will most likely have a supply and demand issue on my hands at first, so I will do my best to have enough onhand when I begin selling them to go around. The first sprays that will be rolling out will be for the Sunburst 4000 model, Cosmos 5000 model, Regency 4001 model. All previous model Fantasia lamps, Cuda etc will have replacements as I make them available.

The large sprays that will first be available will be available in two lengths. The first being a 14" spray that when inserted will hang and display its ends about mid globe on a Sunburst 4000.

The second length spray will be 18" long and is generally seen on the Black Sunburst 4000 model "Egg Shape" But will fit the Chrome and gold model Sunburst lamps also.

The Cosmos lamp will need a measurement specific spray tailored for a exact fit within the lamp.

These fiber optic sprays are in no way easy to make and will be made by hand and not in a factory, the cost of materials, especially the glass fiber optics is a bit pricy and the work that goes into getting a spray fully assembled with a haircut takes a bit of time. The price tag on these sprays will be most likely in the neighborhood of $100-125 each, that will be determined when they are made available for sale.

keep your eyes peeled on ebay for these as this will be where I will be hosting them for sale as where I have many other Fantasia related replacement parts for sale, color wheels etc. I will also give a heads up to you all on here prior to me listing them on ebay. message me for any details or questions!
