So I got burned by a uber cloudy neon lamp but this find made up for it...
Strolled into a Spencer's last Sunday and I was taken by suprise at what I saw sitting in the among the lamps. The employee asked me if they could help me, I said I was just looking for new lamps and pointed to the red/blue lamp on the shelf and said "like that"...
The store employee casually explained that they had that color around Christmas and sold out and just now got it back. I tend to keep up to date on the new lamps as they are released but I never saw or heard of a red/blue lamp at anytime last year.
Does anyone know about this? Is it a Spencer's exclusive? I can't seem to find any info online.
As for the lamp itself...I'm loving the colors and it flows as good as I've seen China made lamp flow. Overall I'm impressed.

well mine is up and running and the flow is pretty good. not quite 90s flow but waaaaay better than most chinas. its still a tiny bit hazy but its clearing. one thing ive noticed that i dont like (besides a million bubbles in the glass) is that its really dark. its not very bright at all even in the day time in a well lit room so i can only imagine its near impossible to see in the dark. it def needs to be back lit to be enjoyed.
went an exchanged for a blue/white goo and the liquid is much better. this time, however, the bottle has a lot of bubbles. ah well.
My blue liquid was kinda dark too but after some use its getting brighter.

Mine is flowing much better now compared to the first two runs. It might even be flowing better than my neon. I do agree that it is too dark.
It's still not the 90's lava, but I'm liking the "new" lava they're using lately. It's more opaque and oily looking, but it flows a lot better than a normal China lamp. You don't get cool columns, but at least there's more blob separation and movement.
