Is this lamp faded?

Hi everyone:

 

I recently bought this lamp and was wondering if it is faded or was this an original color combo in 1977?

Thanks Bohdan. I have two globes exactly like the one you have pictured. Since this one appears to be faded I don't suppose it would hurt to open it and add a bit of color unless you know something I don't know that would ruin it by doing so. Did you see my question to you about the bulb in the Aladdin? I'm also looking for a vintage flower ring for another planter I own. Got any leads on that?
