Well, it has been reborn!  My Imperial is back up and running.

Thanks to all here who offered suggestions and advice.  It was invaluable in getting this beauty up and going again.  Gotta tell y'all, I thought this was cool when I got it, but now that it's back to its original glory....it is beyond cool!!!
