Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have recently purchased a jetstream mathmos lava cover but it came in parts and for some reason

I cannot get it to stay together.  I have 4 walls, a top and a bottom , it goes together fine, but once you let go the cover falls apart.  Am I missing a part, or can someone help me to know how to assemble it properly-is there a trick on putting it together.  The sender was unable to help me as he gave it to a packing company and they pulled it apart to send. He is positive I am not missing a part. Can anyone help please. Jo
