That's what worried me, Brad.   I only got a Paypal, "You sent a payment" confirmation.  Nothing from LL.  Susan checked, and said the order went through though.   That's when I "added" one more item.........ARGGGG   HELP!!!!!

sounds like you are fine since you called susan.  i cringed at the total of my order, but hey, you only live once!  this is fun as i'm usually not an early adopter of anything.  i know that LL has good CS and will take care of me if i'm not satisfied, so that helped me make my decision.  i also want this company (and especially this new line of lamps) to do well, so i "donated" to the cause.

Yup - those Grandes look really nice.  I'm wondering about the quality of the copper Century base, too.  If its Crestworth/Mathmos quality -- Katie bar the door!

I haven't gotten any shipping confirmation yet, Carlos, but I doubt they shipped today when we were all ordering.  I got two day shipping, so should hear soon.  I didn't want them in transit any longer than was absolutely necessary, but at least the temps have cooled down considerably.

I don't know if this has been asked, but is "LAVA" actually embossed on the base? I'm not a big fan of that at all. Emboss it on the bottom of base if that's the case.
