Ben, I LOVE your occupation.  My Daddy retired as Captain on the Tennessee Highway Patrol, so I was raised a "cop's kid."   I was a former "illegal" drag racer.......till Daddy caught me in the act and kept my drivers license in his pocket for 2 months.......ouch.   It could have been a lot worse.  Great pics and I like your face too!!!   Hooah!!!

It's easier to love from a distance! Lol. It's stressful, but most jobs are stressful in their own way. I'm a detective now and I *HATE* being on call. Blech. But it's interesting!

Not too distant, Ben.  I lived with it my entire life until he retired. He was on call 24/7, and was shot in the line of duty one Christmas Eve and pulled through by the Grace of God.  I'm sure he had major stress, and I did too for him!   But he loved his job, joined as a Trooper at 21 years old.  May you always stay safe!
