Lost in the last move?

What's wrong with this picture?  There seems to be far more globes than bases and caps.  WTH??

I think a couple of boxes got left behind in the last move ---  in 2006!!  Damnit all anyhow!

I'm using liquor boxes with built in dividers to pack the loose lamps

Both Quarts and Fifths

For example, I put the Midnights bases in one box and he globes in another and labeled them appropriately.

For lamps that  have matching bases and globes, I put both in same box next to each other in compartments so they stay together

but Im Organizational ADD so...

It's only a small part of the collection. Most of the "good stuff" has already been packed. I've got about 140 lamps already in storage. :)

Kelly and I are pretty close to collection volume

We both need a electrical sub-panel to operate them all at same time

Did you get some of the newer stuff in the buyout like the lava plus lamps? I wouldn't think those were collectible per say?

Now with all that good stuff you mean to tell me you don't have any glitter grandes that were not converted?

Star Wars Came form the UK

I had two glitter grande glitter

\one i sent to my wife's son for his birthday after i made it Pink Floyd "the Wall"

the green one I stil have

only the grandes were in the buyout

After customization my grande inventory consists of:

5th anniversary

green glitter

copper plated basem orange fluid /yellow wax

2 color change with black bases

4 color change with stock bases

1 color change with polished base

and one with pro painted white base (in process)

3 extra bases

I'l have a few for sale when i redo the video, they will with stock bases  and one with black basem if anyone's interested

Most of my lamps are pre-China Lava.  I only have a Royale, a few newer resins, and a couple of the orange/black Aristocrats (or whatever the heck they've renamed them).  I'm not really interested in the new stuff - the LED lights, the disco stuff, etc.  If I'm going to buy new lamps, they're going to be from across the pond...

Agreed, If i had to sell off the collection,t he Mathmos would not be part of it.

I just completed the jet color collection and have 2 Lunars getting customized

Claude, I thought you said the green one was spoken for and the red one you still have.

Remember, depending how I feel about the glitter grande I just got, I might be interested in trading bottle for bottle with a little of $$ on top from me since you paid to convert yours. Let me know if you are still interested in this?
