Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

When I saw the new Astro colors, I gave up all hopes of Mathmos releasing a very special lamp for their 50 years.

Something gave me a new hope today.

It was in their newsletter:

Matt Black Astro is the first of the Heritage range to be released this year as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations.

Who knows what will be next? More surprises we hope.

What about the return of the Glitter lamp, possibly Gold/Silver sparkly glitter but with colour changing LEDS as well as conventional bulb for heat and light.

Different colour Fluidiums? I would love to see them in a red version and a blue one too!

OK new colors are cool, but you could always do that yourself, what we need is a brand new lamp, something everybody will remember as the Mathmos 50 years Lamp.

Something major.

We'll see if Mathmos is able to deliver...

I'm with you on this one... Astronut all the way... :D

A smart glitter would be megacool. Rumours abound that there will be blue, copper & gold bases n caps. Already got a black with plum bottle & it's really good. Glad there's new colours at last. I love the astro it's my favourite of all the designs. It makes sense that they're concentrating on the astro for the 50th anniversary at it was the first lava lamp invented. Long live the astro lamp. British quality through & through.
