Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi all, I'm in the US, and am trying to get some Mathmos lamps. Has anyone tried UKAddress.com? It seems like it is reasonably priced, and exactly what I'm looking for. Thoughts?

Cheers!

I totally understood Aladdin, but that could actually be a good point.  They might be thinking of not actually showing what is in the box, but I'm sure they would know anyway.  Hopefully!!  Post 9/11 I would hope that it takes more then just not posting a pic on the box of what's actually "in the box"  that they would know it's fluids.........

Astro (blue/red), and Baby (blue/blue).  Will post pic of orange when it's heated up.  :)

Brian - are those UK-wired?

yes they are.

Ring a ding ding...

shoot it up........

Awesome!!!  I luv the globe quality in the Mathmos lamps!!!!  None of those stupid starry occlusions, scratches and what nots!!!!

I just tried to reorder from Mathmos;  Blue/yellow & Green flueys are OUT of STOCK.

I went to the lights.com website after reading this and see they are selling the Mathmos Telstar for 139.95 shipped. How long has this been available in US?  Seems a bit pricey. So how does this compare costwise to order from UK and pay to have it shipped across the pond?

Wait... Erin, just read here that these are imposters?

Kirk,

Can you recap for us the process by which you ordered and received the Mathmos lamps via Forward2me?  I'd like to order an Astro from them.  Also - do you have a photo of your recently-ordered Astro in action you can show us?
