Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

what the hell is going on with this? Has anyone heard any news on when they are suppose to start selling to the states? This is becoming the equivalent of lava lite promising to fix their cheap lamps, its just never going to happen. (in our lifetime anyway....)

oh and I have what it takes to buy. ;-P

Its sad that this is the only way to get a brand new good lamp in America.

Agreed.

I can only dream this is true. It's a little frustrating to only have sub-par products locally to choose from. I still have all of mine. Haven't bought any in awhile. I hope to add some more soon. It's just hard to find " choice " ones that people are parting with versus their seconds. Locally I tend to find china lamps. Have had some luck in the past though.

I have my first brand new Mathmos Astrobaby at home today, waiting to be opened. I can't wait!

Also worth noting, I wrote Mathmos for the SIXTH time. No. Effing. Response.

Well, not specific, but finally, a response. Lamplust is not selling Mathmos' lava lamps, but it looks like they will be the ones when Mathmos takes the plunge. I wish they could at least give a date range. They already blew through last September without a word and the US site was supposed to go live then.

Okay so now we have access to a bunch of dumb led lights... I want lava lamps! The fireflow alone doesnt cut it either.

I know. Me too. *sigh* I give up.

They have the fireflows and the specialty lighting but no lava. This is the company I've been trying to get my replacement O1 fireflow glass part for the past 3 months. They are not good at CS or on the ball when it comes to getting back to me. Look at my support ticket and the dates. I still haven't heard from them on these...... lol all I want is a replacement glass...

Hello! Mathmos in the UK instructed me to come to you guys about ordering a replacement glass cylinder for the Mathmos Fireflow O1 because I live in the US. I noticed you guys do not have them on your website so I'm not sure if you can order parts for them or not. If you can can you tell me a the price with shipping? And how I would go about ordering one. Thank you for your time!

Guh. What a pain in the ass.

Yup.  It's unfortunate that if we do want Mathmos lava  (if they ever sell it) that we have to deal with Lamplust's poor support.

I'm always a little taken aback when someone lets inquiries, complaints and questions sit on their FB page, unanswered. They have TONS of messages on their Facebook page with no response. I know FB isn't always used as customer service, but a simple "For support, please contact XXXXX" would suffice.
