Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi,

Is there anyone out there that can give an some ideas as what to do with my two 1970's Lava Lite's.  The lave in both of them dose not flow, both are hung up on the top in a clump. When I run the lamp's, no matter for how many hours, they both do not change.  Can any one help me out as what I can do to correct this.  Appreciate any incite!  Thanks Judy!

Does the lava ever come back down from the top and what is the wattage of the bulbs you are using? Also, pictures would be helpful.

Hi Alex,

I kept the lamp running for 8 hours and the lava stayed at the top.  The bulb is a 40 watt

Thanks for reply
