hi guys, just to let you all know, its not a good idea to lend your lamps out to exhibitions, i suplied mathmos with some lamps for there expo, and they have managed to loose my lunar bottle with the bolt on the top, also they have broke one of the little lugs on the base of one of my dayglo jets, its now taking me ages and endless emails to try and get this put right, i dont think i will do this again in a hurry, in there deffense though they did offer me a replacement bottle in lilac and red, but i already have one of these and would preffer the color i supplied them which was clear and green, i hope they put this right soon, maybe they read this forum lol

Lost or trashed? Neither is an appeasing option. I'm sorry & I hope they can somehow repay you (REALLY repay you, not hope they can pass off a new bottle) what you've lost.

well i had a reply from mathmos today, and here it is, i am totaly pissed off with there attitude,

Sorry, but Red/Violet is the only colour option we have here. We can'toffer to have any bottles made up for you as we still maintain that we never received your lunar bottle with a bolt on top. This is terrible news. Sorry to hear about the poor service Mathmos are providing you with. I was half tempted to offer some of my lamps for that display. Very glad I did not now!! I am not going into details but I had major problems with a Mathmos order I made over the Christmas period. Poor quality/service issues. It did get resolved in the end but it took some doing.

I can't help but think that Mathmos' standards are slipping... Not good in the current economic climate.

Did you ever receive anything from Mathmos for lending your lamps in the 1st place???

yes i did to be fair, they gave me a fireflow, and they also said that they would get me a lunar bottle made, a blue/blue custom job, as yet not recieved it though, but i would still like my original bottle back though, oh well its taught me a lesson ,

no unfortunatly not, they used a blue/green bottle that they had in there store room and didnt bother using mine,

i think you miss understand me, as a thankyou payment for them lending my lamps they gave me a fireflow and also said they would get me a BLUE/BLUE bottle made up for me , this was great,i supplied them a clear and green, which somewhere along the line has gone missing,, i would of had my own clear and green, and also a blue/blue as a spare, now i have a lunar base and cap, and no bottle as yet, they have said that i will deffo get the blue/blue one soon, but i was expecting to get my own clear and green back also,

the blue /blue is not a replacment, its payment for the loan of my lamps, im seeking a replacement for my clear and green thats gone missing, they have offered me a violet and red
