Please help my lamp. It is cloudy.

Hello. I am very new here. Melanie here from Cupertino in Cali. This place looks like a very nice website.

My first post, so please forgive me if I am asking a silly question. I recently bought an Obama Lava Lite lamp but the lamp is very cloudy. I tried emailing the company who makes these - name on box: Lava Lite LCC, but I don't seem to get any reply. I called them up and they told me it was okay for it to be cloudy and a few months it will get clear again. I was wondering if you could please help me to get this lamp clear.

I have a few old lava lamps and they are very clear. When I switch this lamp on, the bit at the bottom never rises. Is there a repair place, I can take my lamp to?

A hearty lava filled welcome to you Melanie. No lava question is too strange or wierd for us to cope or indeed help with. You can rely on the lava experts here from some really cool and helpful advice. Unfortunately, i'm not really one of them but I like to help if I can.

Sorry to read of your dissapointent with your recent purchase and such a new lamp. To me, it is inexcusable that this product should be such a let down. Unfortunately, the product quality 'aint what it was'. I think you deserve a proper response from the company if they want to be taken seriously again.
