I got a blue/white grande a few days ago and filtered it with the water pitcher method. Went through 4 filters and it seemed like you get only 1 good filter before the filter itself is toast. At 10 bux a pop, I stopped. Thankfully all the fluid was filtered and the lamp looked great.
Until I turned it on. Clouded up almost instantly back to the way it was. Anyone out there in good land want to loan me their filter pump? I will pay shipping to and back if you would kindly allow me to use it. I want to give it one last go before I break down and dump the lamp. If it clouds up again, at least I tried - twice and won't feel bad dumping it. However I at least want to try. I don't want to spend the $60+ for something I will never use again. Cheaper to rent it from someone here.
Come on guys. Someone out there has to have a filter pump I can borrow? Help a fellow gooer out! I ran this lamp for HOURS yesterday and the flow is beautiful! It just needs a good pumping to finish it up. I will pay both ways shipping.
Hey Kris!
I have a pump that you may borrow. I need to pump out one vintage (gift for a friend) and then it will be all yours.
I am in SC, so I guestimate that shipping to you will be abt. $8 or $9.
