Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Can someone look on Ebay at item no 260727033107 and explain what makes this lamp so expensive. I see ones like this at garage sales and pass on them,Am I missing something?

maby because it works and that color is yellow/clear which isnt made for 52 ozers. Dont take my word as i am new to lamps.
It's just a faded out blue yellow.

yeah basically. the guy probably wanted to see if anyone was stupid enough to buy it. lol :P

i see a lot of  lamps like that on ebay. the seller just jacks up the price for no apparent reason at all

Thats a royal china lamp. I think they at one point offered clear/yellow. The buyer is probably thinks its a vintage usa lamp.
They did offer a clear/yellow at spencers but it came with a blue base and cap. I used the contents of one for my midnight centuries. Anyway this one looks a little greenish so i think it could be from a blue/yellow faded. Either way not worth what it's going for. Seems to happening a lot on ebay lately.
