Sources for uk lava

Hello,

I have an idea of making a custom lava lamp and need some help on where to acquire the raw materials for these, such as bottles, coloured waxes, if they are anything special or is it just regular candle wax?
I would be happy using ready made globes/ bottles but obviously need a source and a bespoke one would be great, are there any specifications needed or suppliers that anyone could suggest.

Also is it possible to use an aquarium as a lava lamp, obviously without the fish. Or is the heat too much for it? Just an idea...
