Got rid of most of mine. What's the point in collecting if you're not going to display them but only keep them in boxes, packed away in storage? Just doesn't seem right to me. So, I sold them. Still have a couple to get rid of. Let someone else enjoy them.
I'll leave Goo when Mathmos makes a decent lamp. Fair enough? :)
Yeah, those midnight centuries are sweet man!
Tsk tsk. :)
You two are too much! This one time, at band camp...
Anyway, to get to the current subject of this thread, my Hubby refused to buy me one for years. One trip to the Casino Boat, a big win & he brings me my first LL. OMFG, we couldn't stop watching it! When people came to visit, all 52 would be flowing or glittering and they were just amazed. No one has asked us how much $ it cost me, But we do get comments about how high our electric bill should be.
Bohdan..definitely the lava godfather. btw i'm over 100 lamps now ooops!
im a sick puppy i have 192 on display and a further 40 in boxes, i need therapy
This forum IS therapy! LOL.
i disagree this forum feeds my habit..... oozing goo is in theory is a pusher of adictive substances, namely wax and perc lol
True... before I found this site, I owned 3 lamps... It increased to 50+ in 2 years. But Knowledge is power!
Yep, I agree. I actually have two obsessions... Lava and Halloween, so you can IMAGINE what my house looks like!!! We always have a big Halloween party, so I have everything going. All the Icons, all of Mandy's, and ALL of the Halloween crap!
ha!
i followed a similar path except i had two
and it's only taken me a year to get to 50+
